What Determines Student Cost

  • Your Admissions Compass result determines the Applied Major you accept.
  • Placement & Acceptance sets your Foundation, Applied, or Mastery entry point.
  • The tuition matrix sets the band price based on total CEUs in your mapped plan.
  • Every mapped course contributes its own lab fee on top of the tuition band.
  • The enrollment fee is listed separately and charged during matriculation.
  • Payment unlocks the student backend and your first cohort module.

Enrollment Formula

Total student cost is calculated as tuition band + enrollment fee + total lab fees for the courses on your accepted pathway.

During application, CAIS computes that amount automatically once your major and placement level are confirmed.

Monthly Payment Plans

Students can choose either to pay in full at matriculation or set up a monthly payment plan during checkout.

How The Plan Works

  • First month payment must be at least 25% of your total program amount.
  • A one-time $75 payment plan setup fee is added when the plan is created.
  • Remaining balance is divided into monthly installments based on your expected completion timeline.
  • Auto-pay is managed securely through Stripe and can be updated in the billing portal.

Important Billing Notes

  • Missing a scheduled payment can place your student account on hold until billing is brought current.
  • Payment plan eligibility, installment schedule, and due dates are confirmed at checkout before you submit payment.
