What CAIS Verified means

CAIS Verified is not granted to every student. It is not awarded for attendance, enrollment, course access, or prompt familiarity. It is issued only to individuals who have proven independent capability through identity-confirmed evaluation, applied project review, and adversarial testing.

What it is and why it matters

A Secure Verification Link is a candidate-specific CAIS verification URL that points directly to that individual’s verified record. It is designed to give employers a higher-trust verification path than copied text, screenshots, or self-reported claims.

Candidate-specific access

Each secure link is tied to one verified individual, so employers are checking a live CAIS record rather than a reusable document that can be copied and passed around.

Rotating and revocable

Links can be rotated or revoked. If an older link is replaced or disabled, it stops serving as proof of verification.

Access is logged

Secure-link checks are logged so CAIS can track whether a verification attempt succeeded, failed, or used a link that is no longer valid.

Harder to fake

A claim is stronger when the candidate can produce a working CAIS secure link or a successful lookup. If they cannot, the verification claim should not be relied on.
